Lisa Adams embodies strength and purpose, driven by her mission as a Financial Advisor and business advocate to uplift and empower women in their financial and professional lives. As a Co-Owner and Financial Advisor at Rockwood Stone Wealth Management, Lisa channels her passion for finance to help individuals take control of their money, building realistic financial plans that pave the way toward a secure future. She is particularly dedicated to encouraging women to actively engage in their personal finances, ensuring they have the confidence to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives.
Lisa is also the Co-founder of Business Women of Pocatello, where she champions the success of local businesswomen, fostering a supportive network where women celebrate each other’s achievements and take on leadership roles both in their organizations and in the community. She served as the nonprofit’s president from 2017 to 2023 and continues to serve on the board as an advisor. Her commitment to empowering women and business leadership was recognized in 2018 when she received the Idaho State Journal's "20 Under 40" award, just a year after establishing her nonprofit.
In 2021, Lisa was honored with the Kind Community Award for Acts of Kindness, a testament to her commitment to helping others both professionally and personally. She also became DISC certified in 2021 and completed additional leadership courses through the Advanced Leadership Program. That same year, she graduated from the Pocatello-Chubbuck Leadership Program. She has been recognized by her compliance department for her unwavering dedication to her clients’ well-being, receiving accolades for the past three consecutive years.
In 2023, Lisa was appointed to the Chamber Chiefs with the fitting title of "Chief Protect Your Assets," reflecting her expertise in guiding individuals and families toward financial security. Lisa has served as a past board member of the Zonta Club of Pocatello, past Lead of the Christmas for Seniors Committee of Zonta, and past president of the Pocatello-Chubbuck Leadership Program. In 2024, she ended her role on the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce board. Lisa was also a member of Civitans until 2020, when she chose to prioritize ownership in her firm.
Under her leadership, Rockwood Stone Wealth Management has earned significant recognition. Lisa and her team were recipients of the first place Readers' Choice Awards for Best Financial Planning Firm in Southeastern Idaho in both 2019 and 2020. They were finalists in 2021, 2022, and 2023. In 2024, her firm was awarded Best Financial Planning Firm in Eastern Idaho by Idaho’s Best.
In her personal life, Lisa and her husband, Kevin Jordan, welcomed their first child, Matteo Raziel Jordan, on May 23, 2024. Though they faced the heartbreaking loss of Matteo that same day, Lisa and Kevin are committed to honoring his memory, finding strength in supporting one another and living with purpose. Their love for Matteo inspires them to lead lives grounded in kindness and compassion.
When not working, Lisa cherishes time spent with her husband, their golden retrievers, and their extended family, especially her nieces and nephews. A lover of adventure and the outdoors, Lisa enjoys game nights, gardening, hiking, biking, and traveling—activities that bring balance and joy to her life.
Lisa’s journey into finance began after her studies in Human Psychology at Idaho State University. Realizing her true passion was in economics and finance, she set out to help others avoid the financial struggles she witnessed growing up. Armed with a Series 7, Series 66 FINRA license, and a Life Insurance license, all obtained through Kaplan University, Lisa joined Rockwood Stone Wealth Management in 2015. In 2020, alongside her business partner Ken Clark, she purchased the firm from its founders, Barbara Stone and Tressa Rockwood.
Looking ahead, Lisa's vision for the firm remains strong. Her husband, Kevin Jordan, joined the Rockwood Stone team in 2024, aligning with Lisa to further their mission of helping clients overcome financial and retirement challenges. In 2025, Kevin will become a partner, continuing the couple’s shared goal of making financial security accessible to all.
